100% payment is required to secure a firm booking. Payment for corkage is required for all food and beverage. Pasting of posters or handbills on the walls, pillars, fence or properties of the Centre is prohibited.
Decoration, Hostesses and Public Address System are provided by the Centre’s approved independent contractors.

Payment
- Accounts office accepts only drafts or cash.
- Draft to be raised in favour of Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Foundation Facility Account.
- Discount of 10% upon receipt of two comparable facility bookings.
- Payment inclusive of (7.5%) VAT.
- 50% refundable caution fee is mandatory for the use of media studio.
Postponement, Cancellation and Refund
- Three weeks notice to date of event is required for postponement of bookings. Less than three weeks notice will incur a charge of 30% to be deducted from deposit.
- Cancellation less than a week to the date of event will incur a deduction of 65% from deposit.
- Cancellation will incur a charge of 50% to be deducted from deposit.
Operating Conditions
- Auditorium and Central Atrium are available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for evening sessions.
- Meeting rooms are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Damage to the Centre’s property will be billed to the client.
- Alcohol is not allowed on the premises. If alcohol is found, it will be confiscated
Audio-Visual Equipment
Equipment required for a function is to be discussed with the Conference Coordinator at the time of booking.
Moving In-Moving Out
- An authorization form is required for furniture or equipment brought into or removed from the premises.
- An agreed time for bringing in equipment must be approved by the Conference Coordinator.
- Client must ensure that all equipment is removed immediately the event ends.
- Cars are not to block the entrance under any circumstance.
Catering
- Corkage will not be charged when using caterers registered with the Foundation.
- Food and beverage are restricted to the Pavilion, Central Atrium and Gallery
Cleaning
All clients are required to maintain the highest possible standard of cleanliness. No caterer will be allowed out of the Centre until the Conference Coordinator has assured the Security Supervisor that the service areas have been cleared appropriately
Parking
- The Centre provides parking space for one hundred cars within the premises.
- Vehicles are parked at owner’s risk
