Regina Ugbyigbo Alachi is a gender, development, and social inclusion professional committed to advancing equity, human rights, and sustainable development in Nigeria. As Programme Manager for the Social Justice and Equity Programme at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Foundation, she leads initiatives that promote safer institutions, gender justice, disability inclusion, and youth empowerment through research, advocacy, policy engagement, and leadership development.
With a background in Political Science and International Relations, Regina has experience designing and implementing programmes that address Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), strengthening safeguarding systems, and expanding opportunities for women and young people.
Regina holds an M.Sc. in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University and is a certified Nuclear Security Foundation Professional (CNSfP).
