Swallow explores the growing food security challenge in Nigeria, driven in part by climate change, inadequate infrastructure, and traditional agricultural practices. The documentary examines these challenges, shares stories of resilience, and highlights opportunities and solutions for building a more food-secure future.
First released in 2018, Swallow was produced with support from the European Union and the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA). The documentary has been screened at the European Parliament in Brussels, the Embassy of Nigeria in Brussels, and Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO) events, where it helped stimulate dialogue on climate change, agriculture, and food security.
