The Yar’Adua Foundation, in partnership with Education as a Vaccine (EVA) and Women’s Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA) launched a web-based whistleblowing platform at the American University of Nigeria, Yola, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Bayero University, Kano.
Campus launches provided opportunities for university management and faculty to communicate with students and CSOs working on gender-based violence about safeguarding and sexual harassment policies. These launches were publicised by various news outlets on the internet.
The whistleblowing platform anonymously receives, escalates reports and provides support to victims of sexual harassment and other forms of gender based violence in Nigerian tertiary institutions. https://www.genderjustice.org.ng/
